It might be impossible to execute a perfect plot twist that no viewer sees coming, but the best plot twists do at least take most viewers by surprise. There’s a fine art to having just the right amount of foreshadowing and hints to make a surprising plot development make sense in hindsight, but not so much that it becomes too obvious what the twist will be well before it happens....

Aviron Pictures has released the first trailer for the upcoming filmAfter. Based on the romance novel of the same name by authorAnna Todd—which was initially published on the website Wattpad before getting a print edition—the story follows a dedicated college student named Tessa (Josephine Langford) whose guarded world opens up when she meets the dark and mysterious Hardin Scott (Hero Fiennes Tiffin). There are a few things to unpack here. First and foremost, this movie looks like the teen version ofFifty Shades of Grey, where an introverted girl gets mixed up with a dark and extremely sexual man who then opens up her world....

It’s been almost two weeks since Disney made the bombshell announcement that their long-awaited fifth Avengers movie,Avengers: Doomsday, would be delayed by seven months, from its original May 2026 date to December of that year. The news shocked the entertainment business, not only for what it meant for the MCU but because it instantly turned December 2026 into arguably the most crowded month movie-wise in recent memory.
