Together, all of the sub-10-minute chapters ofMost Dangerous Gamewill equal one feature length film, but this review is being written having screened the first four, essentially the first act of the movie. Most Dangerous Gametakes place in Detroit and opens with Hemsworth’s character, Dodge, visiting a man named Miles Sellers (Christoph Waltz), the president of a company called the Tiro Fund....

Sharpen your swords and whip out your comic book collection, because Millenium Media has just released its first look image at the newest adaptation ofRed Sonja. The new image, released today, gives us our first look atMatilda Lutzas the titular warrior. Principal photography for the film is currently underway in Bulgaria, and additional shoots will take place in Greece. No release date has yet been set for the exciting new comic book film....

With production now underway, Gulfstream Pictures’ upcoming romantic comedy filmUpgradedhas added two leads to its cast withCamila Mendes, best known for her role inRiverdale, joining the project alongsideArchie Renaux, who stars inShadow and Bone. Sidney Poitierhas died at the age of 94, according to reports. Few names resonate so loudly in the pantheon of Hollywood as Poitier’s: the titanic screen presence who, amid the tumultuous era of the Civil Rights movement, became the first Black actor to win the Oscar for Best Actor in 1963. Solo: A Star Wars Storyis kind of a fascinating failure. It’s not an awful movie, but it’s not particularly a good one, and I feel like we’ve all kind of forgotten about it already, which is surprising when you consider the amount of discussion generated byThe Force AwakensandThe Last Jedi. It’s not like people are indifferent towardsStar Wars, but they didn’t seem to have much to say aboutSolo. That being said, it had a fascinating development process, and hopefully one day somebody will write a book that explains exactly the transformations the project underwent as it passed from original directorsPhil Lord&Christopher Millerto replacement directorRon Howard....
