Welcome back for a brand new episode of our flagship show, Collider Movie Talk! TodayPerri Nemiroffis joined byCoy JandreauandScott Mantzto talk about some of the hottest movie news stories of the day.
First up we’re digging into someAvengers: Endgamespoilers, particularly a question regarding the time travel in the film. At the end of the movie, Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) opts to stay in the past to be with Peggy Carter (HayleyAtwell). That raises some questions! Does it mean that Steve has been Peggy’s husband in the main MCU timeline all along or did he create an alternate reality? Oddly enough, directorsJoeandAnthonyRussoand screenwritersChristopher MarkusandStephen McFeelyhave different opinions on the matter so on today’s show, Perri, Coy and Scott assess their quotes and offer their thoughts on the matter!

On top of that, we got a major announcement from Walt Disney Studios today; they unveiled their post-merger release calendar. The line-up includes a whole bunch of expected upcoming releases from Disney like a few newStar Warsmovies and a whole batch of slots carved out for new Marvel Cinematic Universe installments, but now The Mouse is also making room forJames Cameron’sAvatarand many other projects that once called Fox home. There’s also been a very interesting development withNew Mutants. Disney pushed that movie’s release from August 2019 to April 2020. Could that actually be a good sign for a chance? A sign that Disney has faith in the film? Maybe even enough to put some resources into reshoots? Catch the panelists' thoughts in today’s episode!
