Relativity Media has released a new trailer for the upcoming supernatural thrillerBefore I Wake. The first trailer for this movie actually arrivedover a year ago, beforeJacob Tremblayhad broken out in a big way with Best Picture nomineeRoom. It marks the follow-up picture fromOculusdirectorMike Flanagan, who also co-wrote the script withJeff Howard.
Tremblay stars as a young boy who is adopted by a pair of caring parents (Kate BosworthandThomas Jane), only to find that his nightmares in their house start to come true. Terrified of falling asleep, the boy is haunted by visions of the couple’s previous child, who is currently dead. So yes, this is one of those horror movies with a creepy ghost kid.
As a fan ofOculusI’ve been curious to check this thing out for some time, and given that it hails from Blumhouse the delay in release doesn’t necessarily mean it’s bad. In fact, now that it’s coming out afterRoom, it has the added bonus of featuring an adorable movie star.
