However, among the financial successes, an unlikely plucky young pig has found herself proving more financially fruitful than several other big titles.

As per officialbox office figuresfrom Sunday, August 03, 2025, British children’s iconPeppa Pighas outperformed bothThe Accountant 2, the action sequel starringBen AffleckandJon Bernthal, andA Minecraft Movie. A special cinematic event titledPeppa Meets the Babytook home $270,000 at the domestic box office on the most recent Sunday, more thanThe Accountant 2’s $237,000 andA Minecraft Movie’s $235,000, despite being in almost half the amount of theaters as both. Of course, there are several mitigating factors at play, such as this being thePeppa Pigproject’s opening weekend compared to the other two movies having been in theaters for many weeks now.

Who Joined Peppa Pig in the Box Office Top 10?

Not just content with taking down some of the year’s biggest movies,Peppa Pigalso made it into the official top 10 list at Sunday’s domestic box office. With the aforementionedLilo & Stitchand lastMission: Impossibleinstallment taking the top two spots, third place was taken by the long-awaited US arrival ofKarate Kid: Legends. Fourth place went to the critical and financial triumphFinal Destination Bloodlines, with fifth place taken by Australian twinsDanny and Michael Philippou’s sophomore feature,Bring Her Back.

In sixth place, the cultural phenomenonSinnersproved popular for yet another week, with the latest MCU installment,Thunderbolts*, taking seventh spot. Eighth place went to the film many are calling the funniest of the year so far:Andrew DeYoung’sFriendship, starringTim RobinsonandPaul Rudd, with ninth place going the way ofThe Last Rodeo, and tenth, of course, toPeppa Pigherself. In total, from her latest opening theatrical weekend, the iconic Peppa, whose full name is actually Pepperius Peppa Pig, currently boasts a global total of $3.4 million.
