Minor Mutations:

Flashback -X-Men: First Class(2011)

This reboot/prequel to the first threeX-Menfilms really helped reestablish theX-Menbrand by throwing them back into the sixties, and recasting the main duo of Professor X and Magneto withJames McAvoyandMichael Fassbender; with Mystique played byJennifer Lawrence. Directed with stylish flair byMatthew Vaughn, the movie revived the franchise and gave us a brand new group of X-Men we are still folllowing to this day.

Spotlight: “Shade, the Changing Man”

Created bySteve Ditko, co-creator ofSpider-ManandDoctor Strange; this is the story of Rac Shade, about his battle with the authorities inside the Meta-Zone, a dimension that exists parallel to Earth. Shade utilizes his M-Vest which projects a freakish version of himself to all outside viewers. If you think this series sounds weird, wait till Pete Milligan got his hands on it! The M-Vest is now a Madness Vest, and Shade is sent to Earth to stop a growing tide of madness called The American Scream. This comic is freaky, hallucinogenic, and deals with many issues that are current hot button topics today. The Heroes Panel all chime in about the comic and could see this Milligan version done now in our America today, either as a series or an independent feature film.
