very specific spoilers, somehow, forDark Phoenix

If you caught themost recent trailerfor 20th Century Fox’s latest X-Men movie,Dark Phoenix, you might have been surprised to see what looked like confirmation that Jennifer Lawrence’s Mystique dies in the film. Like, they showed that, then went on the internet toconfirmthat yes, they showed that. Luckily, the just-released international trailer for directorSimon Kinberg’s film didn’t go with a close-up ofMichael Fassbendergetting shot in the face, instead opting for a decent amount of new footage. (Mostly from the rocket ship scenewe saw at last year’s Comic-Con.) In all seriousness, this might actually be the bestDark Phoenixtrailer out there.
