The details you’ve been waitin for are finally here – how much Disney’s new streaming service will cost you, and when you can get it. As announced at today’s massive Investor Event,Disney+will launch onNovember 12, 2019and will cost $6.99 a month. The plan is for a U.S. debut in November, with a rapid international rollout in “nearly all major regions of the world within the next two years.”

That’s a major flex by the upcoming streaming service, which is positioned to become a rival to industry titan Netflix, who are losing some of their premiere content with the loss of Disney’s film catalog and continue to raise prices. Yet another hike is coming up in May, when the Standard Plan will increase from $10.99 to $12.99 per month, the Premium Plan will increase from $13.99 to $15.99, and the Basic Plan – which only allows for a single non-HD stream – will bump from $7.99 to $8.99.
