In the Marvel vs. DC debate, Marvel has already won 2016. And whereSuicide Squadaimed for dark humor and landed in obnoxious nonsense,Deadpooldelivered the pitch-black humor that has evaded comic book movies for so long.
Now, Marvel has one more opportunity to either further push their brand into more entertaining and ambitious realms withScott Derrickson’s upcoming adaptation ofDoctor Strange, about a surgeon who becomes a mystical superhero following a car accident and a spiritual sojourn to Nepal.
