In addition to revealing that a second trailer is on the way, Robinson was also happy to enlighten followers about the status of a sequel. Essentially, if fans turn up and love the movie (which we undoubtedly will), she’s game to make a sequel, responding to one post,

“if you all go see it and love it!!! sequel is in all of your hands. im ready for it.”

In her response to the question, which asked what other iconic film from the decade she’d revisit if given the chance, the director responded, “there’s one other…. Shutting down every guess, she remained tight-lipped about the secret project.
