Both Coughlan and Newton recently graced the red carpet for the just-concluded BAFTA Awards ceremony, which they attended as nominees for Most Memorable Moment. Their steamySeason 3 carriage scene, where Colin finally professes his love for Penelope, was shortlisted alongside iconic moments including Smithy’s wedding interruption inGavin & Stacey, as well asChris McCauslandandDianne Buswell’sblackout waltz fromStrictly Come Dancing— which took home the award. However, that extended filming schedule gives no reason to worry, as Newton, in his separate interview, revealed filming was now inthe concluding stages, saying; “We’re nearly at the end of filming Season 4.” Staying in spoiler-free territory, Coughlan concluded her reply by highlighting what many fans already know about the upcoming season, adding; “We got new leads this year, Luke Thompson, who we’re used to, and Yerin Ha, who’s new and gorgeous. It’s sort of a Cinderella story. In terms of me, I’ve got a ginger baby. She’s a married woman. She’s a writer, but it’s delightful and gorgeous as always."
