The news came as part of a broader update on Sheridan’s ever-expanding universe.Tulsa KingSeason 3, starringSylvester Stallone, will debut September 21.Mayor of Kingstownreturns withJeremy Rennerin October. Then, just in time for the holidays,Landmanresumes its tale of power, politics, and pipeline warfare in the modern-day American oil industry.

Set in West Texas and based on theBoomtownpodcast,Landmanfollows Thornton’s Tommy Norris, a fixer-turned-executive navigating a brutal world where fortunes are made — and lost — one deal at a time. Season 1 ended on a high-stakes note with the death of MTex Oil exec Monty (played byJon Hamm), the introduction ofAndy Garcia’scartel-connected Gallino, and Tommy stepping into a new role as CEO of MTex.As co-creatorChristian Wallacerecently said, Season 2 will find Tommy in boardroomsandback in the field. “you may take Tommy out of the patch to an extent,” Wallace said, “but not fully.”

Also set to return are the show’s tangled love stories — including the fragile, complicated bond between Tommy’s son Cooper and Ariana, the widow of one of his crew. And with Cooper’s own start-up oil company making waves, the Norris family may soon be facing off in a very different kind of land war.
