The announcement comes with a sleek new teaser, teaser art, and first-look photos that tease what fans can expect fromthe next chapter of the mind-bending series. From executive producersTim Miller(Deadpool,Terminator: Dark Fate) andDavid Fincher(The Killer,Mindhunter), the show is once again bringing us animated stories that will push the boundaries both in terms of their ambitious narrative and their visual innovation — and we love it when those boundaries get pushed.

‘Love, Death + Robots’ Counts Some Famous Fans
One of the acclaimed series' most famous fans is the authorGeorge R. R. Martin,who cited the show as an inspiration to himearlier this year when discussing how he wanted his animated adaptation of Corlys Velaryon’s (Steve Toussaint) journeys around the world to come across. Martin, who has praised the visual styles of animated shows like Netflix’s recentBlue Eye Samurai, sat down with Collider to discuss what he would like to see from the future animated shows based around the Song of Ice and Fire universe, complimenting the format ofLove, Death + Robotsnot only for its variation in style but also becausethe show has adapted multiple science fiction stories. He said:
“I really do want it to look good. I really enjoyed, over the last few years,Love, Death + Robots, because that’s an anthology show, and they’re adapting some very good stories from science fiction, from good writers likeMarko KloosandJohn Scalziand various other people and every episode is a different style of animation and some styles I like more than others. Some are very cartoony, but some are very realistic. Some are very, obviously done with VFX and it’s all computer animation, so there’s great possibilities there.”
