Now, audiences can take in the silent terror of the filmmaker’s third feature-length project when it quietly breaks into cinemas just in time for the spooky season. Not only has the movie undergone a full restoration that has Flanagan’s stamp of approval, but select showings will also feature a livestream Q&A with Flanagan and the movie’s star and co-writerKate Siegel. If you’re hoping to seethe dream teamin person, the live screening and Q&A will take place at Vidiots in Eagle Rock, California. This momentous occasion not only celebrates the legacy of the film but also marks the first time that it’s been shown in theaters as it was a direct-to-Netflix drop following its 2016 SXSW premiere.
