Hey Collider Crew. Love the show and watch it daily! Keep up the good work!
Question: Maybe I’m being naive, but how the f***k are bad movies still being made?
If you’re a film director, wouldn’t you just study all the past great movies and directors and learn from them? Even if you have to “fake it til you make it,” fans would still get good movies instead of being let down.
When I think ofThe Force Awakensfor example,J.J. Abramsdidn’t bring anything really original. But he used what worked and we got some great entertainment.
When I look atBvSandSuicide Squad, I’m thinking how could anyone screw this up? Or is there something else behind the scenes? Are studios interfering with directors' creativity and vision and then we as the fans, get stuck with a hot mess?
