In an age where long-developed sequels and movies-turned-tv-shows are bombing left and right,Ash vs Evil Deaddefied the odds and showed ‘em all how it’s done with a rip-roaring first season that delivered the goods fans spent decades demanding, while still giving the series breathing room to grow into a fearsome, bloody beast all its own. Last we saw Ash (Bruce Campbell) and his new gang, they were headed off to sunshine-y Jacksonville, Florida for a little hard-earned (well, bargained more than earned) peace and quiet....

Netflix has released the firstBird Boxtrailer for the upcoming original film, and this movie looks like quite the disturbing thriller. Based on the novel of the same name by authorJosh Malerman, the film is led bySandra Bullockand takes place in a world where a mysterious force decimates the Earth’s population. It appears as though the film is set in multiple time periods, as events during/right after “the event” show Bullock’s character as pregnant, while events that look like they take place in a more apocalyptic setting find Bullock mothering two young children....

Black Adamis finally hitting theaters this October. The best part is theDwayne Johnson-starring film is bringing along some iconic friends. Particularly The Justice Society of America, which marks the big screen debut of DC legends like Dr. Fate, Hawkman, Cyclone, and Atom Smasher. With any major release like this there are always new action figures to follow and, once again,McFarlane Toyshas comic book fans covered. Black Adam and every member of The JSA featured in the film are getting seven-inch figures ahead of their live action debut this fall....
