ForThe Final Chapter, the franchise is heading back to its roots, picking up immediately afterResident Evil: Retributionin Alice’s quest to stop the Red Queen from eliminating the few human survivors.The Final Chapteris currently filming in Cape Town, South Africa, and sincethe last time we checked in, the cast has shared a fuckton of new photos from the set. The new pics give us an even better look at the costumes, locations, sets, and weaponry, but mostly they tell us that this cast really, really loves to instagram, which you can witness for yourself in the images below.

Picking up immediately after the events inResident Evil: Retribution,humanity is on its last legs after Alice is betrayed by Wesker in Washington D.C. As the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead hordes, Alice must return to where the nightmare began – Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse.
In a race against time Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters.
