The panels forStar Wars: The Rise of Skywalkerand the highly anticipated Disney+ showThe Mandaloriancertainly stole a good deal of the spotlight at Star Wars Celebration Chicago this year, but there is no overlooking one of the most incredible aspects of the event - the community. Thousands of life-longStar Warsdiehards and budding fans turn out not just for the panels, the autograph opportunities and the must-have merchandise; they also hit the show floor to show off their love of the brand through cosplay.

In between the presentations forStarWars: Galaxy’s Edge,Star Wars: Jedi FallenOrder, and more, we explored McCormick Place looking for the most impressive cosplay we could find. And, as one might expect, we had absolutely no trouble tracking down some impressive costume work. The cosplay of choice range from a killer looking Emperor Palpatine (which turned out to be a shockingly spot-on choice giventhe big revealat the end of theRise of Skywalkertrailer) to a wide variety of Mandalorians, Ahsoka Tano, Stormtroopers, and so much more. You can catch a glimpse of the wild amount of craftsmanship that goes into Star Wars Celebration cosplay by scrolling through the images below taken by our own social media manager, Dorian Parks.
