What Can We Expect In ‘The Agency’ Season 2?

The Agencyfound a loyal audience thanks to its razor-sharp dialogue and a labyrinthine plot that blended global intelligence work with internal power plays.Season 1 ended with a major cliffhanger- betrayal. Martian finds himself boxed into a corner, left with next to no option but to become an informant for Jim Richardson. He makes this decision to protect the two women he loves the most — his daughter Poppy (Fowler) and Sami (Smith), with whom he has been having an affair in secret.

The dynamics between the characters, particularly Martian and Sami, will likely evolve, setting the stage for a new chapter in Season 2. Martin’s decision will make him a wanted man within both spy organizations. Meanwhile,Danny proved herself to be capable under pressure in Tehran, and she’s only just begun to gather intel on Iranian nuclear operations, with the turn of events there likely to open up a whole new world of possibilities. It also remains to be seen what will happen to Sami, as her misadventures in season 1 haven’t been explored fully.
