A new poster for the upcoming horror movieTheCelloteases the nightmare thatSaw II-IVandSpiral: From the Book of SawfilmmakerDarren Lynn Bousmanis bringing to his next horror movie. Filmed under the radar in Saudi Arabia and the Czech Republic, the English and Arabic language horror movie was only revealed last week, whenThe Cellowrapped production.

The new poster features the titular cello over a gray sky. There are red bloodstains on the cello, and a dead tree seems to be growing from its neck, with a crow perched on one of its branches. However, even more disturbing are the hands that seem to be pushing against the wood on the cello’s body, as if lost souls were trapped inside the musical instrument and struggling to get out. The movie slogan, “music to die for,” is another ominous sign that this cello is cursed.

So far, little is known aboutTheCello, but the official synopsis claims that the movie tells “the story of an aspiring cellist who learns the cost of his brand-new cello is a lot more insidious than he first thought.” The new poster seems to perfectly echo the idea of an evil object, and by now, we are all dying to know exactly how a cello can take over lives and who’ll play the cursed cellist.
