LEGO has announced their latest minifigure set, and unsurprisingly, it will be a tie-in to the upcomingThe LEGO Batman Movie. For those who don’t know how the minifigure sets work, they’re sets of 20 individually packaged minifigures in blind-buy bags. Earlier this year, LEGO did one just for Disney characters and now withLEGO Batman Movieset to open early next year, we’re getting one featuring a variety of Batman outfits and characters.
The set gives us a pretty good indication of how wacky the movie is going to get with Lobster-Lovin’ Batman, Fairy Batman, Vacation Batman, and (my personal favorite) Glam Metal Batman. The set also includes deep cut Batman villains like King Tut, Calculator, Zodiac Master, and The Eraser. While a good portion of these figures will likely be fleeting cameos or background appearances in the actual film, it’s still nice that they’re being included.
