Tom Hiddleston’sLokiseries has been the saving grace of the MCU on the small screen. The God of Mischief’s adventure through the multiverse brought fans a lot of clarity aboutdifferent timelines and how the operate in post-Endgameeraalong with introducing the TVA and many interesting characters. Hiddleston has been one of the actors who has appeared in every phase of the MCU (so doesSebastian Stan’s Winter Soldier) and it seems like his presence will loom large in the upcomingAvengers: Doomsdayas well.
During a new interview withJimmy Kimmel, when the late-night host tried prying answers from Hiddleston about the upcoming film, he mentioned, “Loki was holding all the timelines in the multiverse…” to which Hiddleston was quick to interrupt, “Still is…I mean, we haven’t seen him do anything different.” Kimmel further asked whether the plot point will be a “major part” of the upcoming film, Hiddleston revealed.

Fans’ hopes were up when Hiddleston was announced in the cast of the upcomingRobert Downey Jr-led film after mulling overthe big question posed byDeadpool & Wolverine: “Why was Thor crying?” While the Loki actor did not answer the question, he did confirm a major detail, and now we know for sure,Doomsdaywill be a continuation of Loki’s story, who ended up being the God of Stories by the end ofLokiseason 2, holding all the timelines together.
Another ‘Loki’ Actor Might Join ‘Avengers: Doomsday’?
While Hiddleston’s casting is confirmed, hisLokico-star,Sophia Di Martino, who plays Sylvie, hinted at her return in a now-deleted Instagram post. It’ll be interesting to see if any other cast members likeOwen Wilson,Ke Huy Quan,Wunmi Mosaku(who last appeared in Deadpool & Wolverine) will appear in the upcoming feature which totally depends on the part TVA plays inDoomsday. Fans will have to wait a little longer for more updates, given Marvel isn’t showing up at SDCC Hall H this year and the movie has been delayed to August 21, 2025. Till then, all roads lead to Doom.
