It’s been a long time (or hast it?) since last we visitedWestworld. It was back in 2016 that the ambitious sci-fi series adaptation ofMichael Crichton’s original 1973 film premiered with some very contemporary changes and crowd-pleasing twists and turns. The reliable ratings came courtesy ofJonah NolanandLisa Joy’s mystery-centric series, but that success is also what caused some delay in the coming of the second season since the new scripts had to be airtight and just as engaging as the Season 1 storylines. But the wait is just about over.WestworldSeason 2 arrive on HBO April 22nd, and we have some new, official images to share with you in celebration of that fact.

Season 2 will see some of the executives taken hostage by the hosts while Charlotte tries to keep everything contained; she’s got a business to run, after all. Bernard’s crisis of conscience will likely continue as well, and who knows what the rest of the fan-favorite hosts will get up to. But that’s why we watch!
