‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Review: We Wanted Matt Murdock Back, but Not Like This
The first two episodes of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ are now streaming on Disney+.
Set years after the events of Daredevil Season 3, Daredevil: Born Again sees Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) enter a new phase of his life as he balances his time as a lawyer and the protector of Hell’s Kitchen. Things might get a bit more challenging as Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’onofrio) rises to power and becomes the mayor of New York City.

Therese Lacsonbelieves that the series fails to capture the magic of the original series in her review ofBorn Again, saying:After a meandering nine episodes of a courtroom drama arc, a masked villain arc (which essentially is a footnote), and a big fight against the bad guys arc,Daredevil: Born Againis a hodgepodge of ideas. Whether it’s too many cooks in the kitchendue to its production woesor a desperation to recapture lightning in a bottle, in trying to reviveDaredevil, all Disney accomplishes is giving us a watered-down Matt Murdock who neatly fits into the mold of all MCU stories.

‘Mickey 17’ Review: Bong Joon Ho’s Creativity Can’t Be Killed in Absurd Sci-Fi Journey
Two Robert Pattinsons star in what is Bong Joon Ho’s best English-language film yet.
A disposable employee (Robert Pattinson) is sent on a human expedition to colonize the ice world Niflheim. After one iteration dies, a new body is regenerated with most of his memories intact.

Ross Bonaime praises the film, saying:It’s also just wonderful to watch Bong work on this scale, create the vision he wants post-Parasite, and in doing so, make an absurd comedy that hits on his favorite issues and topics, and with one of his best casts to date.Bong’s English films have always felt slightly a step behind from the quality of his Korean films, but withMickey 17, that gap is starting to narrow considerably.

Tania Hussainsays thatDeli Boysis one of the best new shows of the year, explaining:Deli Boysis an entertaining crime comedy that resonates with everyone as it offers insight into Pakistani-American culture, particularly the balance between cultural identities, and the challenges that come with it.
